Good Sunday morning all! Slam the door on September and open up October. Shall we spend a moment in God’s word and lets do it together.

Isaiah 41:10 . Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

I don’t know about all of you but my September was long and work filled. Alot of unknown’s, alot of questions to answer and October looks to pile right on top of it. I don’t know about you but i turn to Jesus for my strength. He tells me in this verse He will be my strength. He will strengthen me in our daily turmoil. The line in this verse that really hits home and makes me know its true…. It says “ be not dismayed”. Always Know He is capable of doing what He says! And He says “ I WILL STRENGTHEN YOU “!! Feel His strength today!

PS.. say a prayer for those affected by Ian. That they can know Gods strength !!

Good Sunday morning.😃. Lets share a moment together in God’s word.

I took this from “ your Verse of the day”. It just hit home. Pauls writting here and telling us its never easy. We all know that. Lifes NOT Easy. Sometimes we think we need to handle it ourselves and tackle it head on. Sometimes we scream to God to fix it. But God tells us…. Just settle down and “ TRUST ME”. The MORE we trust in Him the BIGGER He gets in our lives!! Don’t you want the Biggest God possible?? Then put your Trust in Him!!

Have a Blessed Sunday!!

Good rainy Sunday morning! Shall we spend a minute in God’s word? Lets! Lets do it together.

John 12:17 ( Jesus speaking) Now my soul us troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save Me from this hour? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name.

Jesus died on the cross for us! To save us. To put us right in Gods eyes. He knew when He came what his job was and how He would die. Not saying He was looking forward to death on the cross. He knew it would be a terrible death. But did it !!

How many jobs or things for Christ do we avoid because we think its too difficult or its not going to be fun or pleasurable?? What if Jesus would have walked away from His job? And it was a terrible job. Lets get out there and do our jobs . Those things Jesus wants us to do and be a part of. Spread the gospel message, strengthen God’s kingdom!!

You and I, we can do it!!

Hi all! Lets share some of Gods words together, shall we?! This soggy Sunday morning.

From Hebrews chapter 5 verse 12…. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Where are we at with our relationship with Jesus.
I know, ive heard them say, “ I believe in God”.
Yes , you believe in God. But the demons and the devil believe there is a God too. We all need to be spending as much time as possible in Gods word. Learning who He is . Learning to Grow in and with Him. Get past the milk stage and get to the solid food stage. From learning to doing what God’s asking of us. Thats putting His words into action!

Have a Blessed and relaxing Labor Day weekend

Good Sunday morning. Shall we spend a moment in God‘s word and let’s do it together. I’m gonna share this with you from Mark Spence.

WHICH JESUS??? If a stranger approaches you and says he knows your buddy “John “but all the facts are wrong concerning him, you could safely conclude that he is referring to a different “John.”With that in mind there are many religions that claim they know and believe in Jesus, but that does not mean they are referring to the same Jesus Christ of the Bible, for example.. mormons believe that Jesus was the spirit brother of Lucifer. That is not the Jesus of the Bible! Jehovah witnesses believe that Jesus was Michael the Archangel. That is not in the Bible! Muslims believe Jesus was just a prophet. That is definitely not what the Bible teaches!
Baha’i Teaches Jesus was simply a messenger. That is not in the Bible! Notice how none of these religions teach what the Bible says, that Jesus was God and in human flesh. Jesus died on the cross he rose again from the dead he conquered sin and the grave , how is that possible? Because he is the Christ, the savior of the world. That is in the Bible!!

Do you want to know more about Jesus and who he really is?! Then get into your Bible and you’ll find out!

Have a Blessed Sunday!

Well good Sunday morning all. Lets spend a moment in Gods word and lets do it together.

Philemon1:4 … I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers, hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints, that the sharing of your faith may become affective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you, in Christ Jesus. For we have great joy and consolation in your love, because the hearts of the Saints have been refreshed by you, brother.

As Christians do we share our faith with each other and with others. Do we do it by words and action. We should be! Go out and live your faith as Christ showed us how to do. Do it with love and respect for others. It doesn’t matter what the world is doing. It matters what we are doing. Share your faith with fellow believers and with those Who may need to be lead in that direction. God is good! We should let everybody know that. Are you doing your part???

Have a blessed Sunday!

Good Sunday morning 😃. How about spending a moment in Gods word? And lets do it together!

From Psalm 18; I will love you, O’ Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliver. My God, my strength, in whom I will trust . My shield and the horn of my salvation, my strong hold, I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from my enemies. For you will light my lamp, the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. For by you I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect, the word of the Lord is proven, he is a shield to all who trust in him. The Lord lives! Blessed be my rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted. It is God who avengers me, and subdues the people under me, he delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me. You have delivered me from the violent man. Therefore I will give thanks to you, oh Lord, among the Gentiles and sing praises to your name.

Having a tuff time in life? Or times are good? It doesn’t matter! Knowing and trusting God in your life you have a sense of freedom. Freedom to know God is with you at all times. He IS your rock! He IS your salvation! He will light the way. You just have to walk with Him!

Have a Blessed Sunday!

Lightening and rain this Sunday morning. Won’t stop us from praising God. Lets do it together!!

Mark 11:15 So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple. Then He taught, saying to them,
“Is it not written, ‘ My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations?’ But you have made it a den of thieves.”

Sounds like Jesus did a little house cleaning here. How about you and I?? Have we cleaned our houses lately?? Or do we just continue to let the garbage (SIN) pile up? Take a look. Do we need to do some house cleaning?? Probably!! We don’t know the time or hour of His return. So lets be ready. Lets clean our house!

Have a safe, dry, Blessed Sunday!

Sunday morning praise time! Lets spend a moment together in God’s word. Shall we?!

Matthew 9:4 But Jesus knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, Your sins are forgiven you, or say, Arise and walk? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” - then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house. “ And he rose and departed to his house.

Jesus has THAT power. To forgive sin! No other religious leader has. Jesus can wash all our sins. He did that by dying on the cross. By paying the penalty for our sins he gave us a Free gift. Eternal life in Heaven with HIM! Have you received your Free gift? Have you received Jesus??!!

Have a Blessed Sunday!!

Good Sunday morning to everyone , let us spend a moment in God‘s word together.

Ezekiel 33:30… “ as for you, son of man, the children of your people are talking about you beside the walls and in the doors of the houses, and they speak to one another, everyone saying to his brother, please come in here with the word is that comes from the Lord. So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as my people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them, for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain. Indeed you are to them a very lowly song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument, for they hear your words, but they do not do them. And when this comes to pass, surely it will come, then they will know that a profit has been among them.

God puts a lot of authority in our life. We have laws , regulations , code of ethics we need to follow and live by each day. Do we? Teachers teach, preachers preach , but do we listen? Or do we just give lip service? Jesus teaches us a lot. He is always teaching us. His word can be in front of us at all times. The only way to know his word is to pick it up the Bible , and read it. And understand it.
But even if we do that, do we just give Jesus lipservice? Or do we go out and live our lives as Jesus would want us to live them? Let us all put what Jesus gives to us in our hearts. Keep Jesus in our hearts and do his teachings and see if we cant make a difference!

Have a Blessed Sunday!!

Good Sunday morning. It’s a little overcast here but what a great day to give a little praise to our God. Shall we do it together? Let’s!!

Luke chapter 10 verse 33 but a certain Samaritan as he journeyed came where he was and when he saw him ( The man who had been stripped by thieves) he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring an oil and wine, and he sat him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper and said to him, take care of him, and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.

Are we like this Samaritan. Do we stop and help our fellow man when they are in need or do we just say “it’s not my problem.” We can’t solve the worlds problems but we can make a difference in our community. Reach out, help your neighbor up when he is down. Sometimes it’s gonna cost us something. Look at the price Jesus paid for us!!
Be there for others as Jesus is there for us!!

Well good Sunday morning. What a beautiful morning. Let’s spend some time together and hear about God‘s word. His beautiful word and let’s do it together.

One John 2:22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ who denies the father and the sun. Whoever denies the son does not have the father either, he who acknowledges the son has the father also. Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the son, and in the father. And this is the promise that he has promised us …… eternal life

It’s all really simple. Put your trust and faith in Jesus. And when you do this God walks with you. And learn God‘s word. When you know God‘s word you know who and what he is and what he stands for and the promises he will give you and you know that it is truth. The better you know Christ the easier it is your walk. And when that walk is easy iis joyful and that’s what it is this is all about the joy that he brings us. Knowing and believing in Christ you have a promise you have that promise of eternal life. But it all boils down to one thing, do you believe in Jesus?

Just remember this thought. This is independence day weekend. Remember the independence and freedom God gives you each and every day.

From Galatians chapter 5 verse one. “ Standfast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”

Remember through Jesus Christ he has set us free make sure you enjoy the freedom he gives you each and every day , live through the the freedom of Christ!

Have a Blessed and Great 4th of July weekend !!

Good Sunday morning! The weather is a little iffy. But what is not iffy? Our time with God! Lets spend some together.

Malachi: 1:6.” A son honors his father, and a servant
his master. If then i am the Father Where is My honor? And if i am a Master, Where is My reverence”? Says the lord of hosts to you priests who despise My name. Yet you say, “ In what way have we despised Your name?”

We all spend time honoring things we probably should not. I’m not saying don’t take care of things but where is the importance placed. In our home and our money and our jobs those are all important things but who should be at the top of the list and which ones do we make at the top of our list. If money is more important then there is a problem. And if you’re asking more important than what, The answer is God. God should be at the top of your list. He is the most important thing. And do we show him that. Are we showing Him that each and every day of our lives. Or does He take a backseat to all these other things . Make sure we are putting God first all those other things will fall into place where they need to be. Put God first and see where he puts you then!! He will put you right next to his side!
Have Blessed Sunday!

What a beautiful start to this Sunday morning! What better way to do it then spend a moment in God‘s word and let’s do it together.

Jeremiah chapter 1 verse six … then said I: ”Ah Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” But the Lord said to me: ” do not say, I am a youth, for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.

How many of us really put our trust in God. I mean seriously! Do you really trust God? There’s a lot of us that say we do but in reality we don’t let him work in us. If we would only trust God and let him work in us we would see huge benefits. He’ll never let you do anything you’re not capable of doing. He’ll walk you through any problem any disaster any of life‘s conflicts. He’ll help you through the good times and bad but all boils down to trusting him . Like he told Jeremiah you might not have the words but I will give you the words. And you do not have to be afraid because I am always with you! So why don’t we do that take away the fear put our trust in God and let him show us let him give us the words he will speak for us!!

Have a Blessed Sunday!!

Good Sunday Morning. Its time for God. Of course it’s always time for God. Lets spend some time together.

Psalm 19: The perfect revelation of the Lord by David. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows his handiwork, day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth and the words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tabernacle for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices like a strong man to run its race. It’s rising is from one end of heaven, and it’s circuit to the other end. And there is nothing hidden from its heat. The law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul.

A beautiful passage showing how BIG God is in Davids life!! Do we make God that BIG in our lives?? We do!

Welcome everyone to Sunday morning. Shall we spend a moment together in God’s word? LETS!!

Matthews gospel chapter 5 verse 13: you are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how can it’s saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything, but be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lamp stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

You have to love this piece of scripture! Why are we all here? Just to go through life day-to-day just worried about ourselves? No! We’re here for others. And we are here for God. God wants us helping others. Be someone else’s light. Help somebody in need. It can be simply by opening a door, picking up a package for somebody. Or just by listening. Someone’s having a tough day. Small crisis in their life. You listening and then giving them Gods message. They will be so grateful. Be the light. Be the salt. Let the world know that you are a believer and that Jesus is the answer. And most of all show them! Let’s make this a better place Give light!

Sunny Sunday morning. Welcome! Shall we spend a moment together in Gods word as we praise and glorify him today and especially this week as we lead into Easter….

Luke: 24:38 and he said to them “ why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me and see me. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have. These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled with which were written in the law of Moses and the prophets and the Psalms concerning me. Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise, from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem”.

A few points to ponder……..
“why are you troubled?” We have the faith of knowing Jesus Christ died on the cross for us. We should have no troubles. If we lay them all out to Christ he takes away our troubles.
“these are the words which I spoke”… do we listen to Jesus? His words are all truth. Get to know them. And the way you get to know them is by knowing him and that is through his Word, the Bible.

“ repentance and remission of sins should be preached”. You ever wonder why things aren’t going your way. Why maybe your prayers aren’t being answered or aren’t answered the way you want. We have to make sure we have a clean soul or as clean as we can possibly make it and that is true repentance of our sins. Gods always listening.

But a clean mind and soul will definitely help us hear Him better. ……….Reflect this week as we approach Easter. Make sure our mind and souls and hearts are as pure as they can be.

Be ready for Jesus!!! Have a Blessed Sunday!!

Good morning everyone! Beautiful Sunday morning. Let’s share in God’s word together this morning.

I’m taking it from the devotional Jesus Calling. Today matched up perfectly. Understanding and knowing who God is so important and knowing what he has done for us and what he is willing to do for us. Read this one, soak it in, and then live it and know that it’s true.

Have a great Sunday. We love you and God loves you!!

Welcome to another Sunday morning. Glorious day God has put for us. Let’s celebrate with him and share his words and let’s do it together.

Psalm 34; I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord. The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man who trust in him! Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints! There is no want to those who fear him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

We all get up each and every day wondering how sometimes we’re going to get through it. All the struggles all the day-to-day stuff work and kids and energy being wasted in places that we just don’t have that extra energy. But we know one thing. If we trust in God he is there with us. And we should be thanking him and praising him for that each and every day. When you put God on the top shelf and you let him know that he is the top shelf you will feel his presence deeper and know that he is walking with you. All your problems and troubles aren’t going to just vanish but with God walking with you the fear is removed. You’ll know you’ll get through it. Life is so much better knowing God is walking with you. Thank him and praise him for that let people know that too. Let them know you believe in Him and that he walks with you. Maybe they could use a little help too, maybe they’ll find it in God, like you!!

Have a Blessed Sunday!!

Welcome. Sunday morning is here. Let’s share in God‘s word together. A moment to praise and glorify him and learn a little more.

Jeremiah 20 verse 7; O Lord, you induced me, and I was persuaded. You are stronger than I, and have prevailed. I am in derision daily, everyone mocks me. For when I spoke, I cried out, I shouted, violence and plunder! Because the word of the Lord was made to me. A reproach and a derision daily. Then I said, I not make mention of him Nor speak anymore in his name. But his word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones. I was weary of holding it back, and I could not. For I heard many mocking, fear on every side! Report, they say, and we will report it! All my acquaintances watched for my stumbling, saying, perhaps he can’t be induced, then we will prevail against him, and we will take our revenge on him.

It’s not easy being a Christian!! But when God puts the Holy Spirit in you to work it becomes easy. You’ll have people with different ideas and different thoughts pulling you away. But allow the Holy Spirit to work and you will be amazed. Don’t be ashamed
Or bashful or hide. Let the world know you are a Christian. Because the one standing next to you might be one too and there is strength in numbers. But the biggest number you have and the biggest fan you have his name is Jesus and he is the answer. He didnt hind, and neither will you!!

Have a Blessed&beautiful Sunday!

You know what time it is? Time to praise God. Let’s do it together and let’s share in his word.

Isaiah chapter 42 verse 10; sing to the Lord a new song, and his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you coastlands and you inhabitants of them! Let the wilderness and it’s cities lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory to the Lord, and declare his praise in the coastlands. The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man, he shall stir up his zeal like a man of war, he shall cry out, yes shout aloud, he shall prevail against his enemies.

Anyone had a bad day lately? Or should I say a bad month. LOL I know it’s not funny it’s been a tough time. A tough couple of weeks. But we know one thing. When we walk with God he walks with us. He will strike down and prevail over our enemies. He will be there to give us strength and hope. And if we walk with him we will find his joy. Get to know Christ! Jesus is the answer. Walk, talk, pray with Jesus let him lead you.

Hey it’s Sunday morning. Do you know what that means? Yes you do it means time to spend in God‘s word and let’s do it together.
One of my favorite scriptures and it’s so important to discuss right now. It’s been a tough couple of weeks here. Three dear friends lost. So let’s discuss this a little more in depth.

Romans chapter 10 verse; that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes onto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, whoever believes in him will not be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is Rich to all who call upon him. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There are some mighty words. Those are words that should scare you. Because if you have not put your faith in Jesus Christ you are taking a big risk and a big gamble. If you haven’t figured out Jesus is the answer and the only way to heaven then we need to figure that out. We do not know when our time will be called. My three friends who we lost this week did not know when their time would be called. The one wonderful thing is I know all three of them believed in Jesus. All three had professed in their heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus was Lord and Savior. You do not know when your time will come do you want to take that chance. If you need help with finding Jesus please let Country Community Church know and we will help you. Or find that local church or find somebody who is a believer and get with them. If you can make that profession today I would. Because you don’t know when your time is coming. And you don’t want it to be too late.
Eternity without Jesus? Doesn’t make sense to me.

Well good Sunday morning. The sun is rising. Looks like the start of a beautiful day. And we can thank God for that. Shall we spend a moment in God‘s word and shall we do it together.

In the Gospel of John chapter 11 verse 11; Jesus answered, “are there not 12 hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him..”These things he said, and after that he said to them, “our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.”

When we can see where we are going life is so much easier. We have the ability to make decisions and make correct decisions. It’s so much easier when things aren’t pulling against us or stressing us out. Life is just easier when we can see. That’s what God‘s telling us here that there are times when there is plenty of light and we can see where we’re going and what we need to be doing. But then there’s also a lot of time when it is dark and that stress overwhelms us and we don’t know what we need to be doing. We think the walls are crumbling around us. There is light and there is dark. But we have to remember is God is always with us. He’s with us in the light because he is the light and he can give us that light when it is dark. We just have to walk with him and understand him and get to know him and the better we understand and know him the easier it is in the more light we will have. Work on your relationship with Christ and see how much more light is in your life!! Have a Blessed Sunday! May Gods light shine on you!

Guess what? It’s Sunday morning!! And you know what that means. It means time that we get to spend together praising and glorifying God so let’s do that now!

Nehemiah chapter 1 verse 10; now these are your servants and your people, whom you have redeemed by your great power, and by your strong hand. O Lord, I pray, please let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants who desire to fear your name, and let your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the side of this man. For I was the kings cupbearer.

How important is prayer ? It is super important! It’s the link and the key between you and God. It’s how you get to know him and he intern can reveal himself to you. Pray! Pray some more! Prayer should be nonstop. Spend time talking with God. That is what prayer is. He will give you a many answers. He will give you many ideas. You just have to take the step and step out into prayer. The time talking to God is never wasted. Because you are not a waste to him. He loves you and he wants to know you better and most importantly he wants you to know him. Put yourself on the prayer locomotive. And see where that train will lead you!!

Well good Sunday morning everyone. How about we all get together and spend a moment in God’s word together. Let’s go!

Proverbs 22 verse four; by humility and the fear of the Lord our riches and honor and life. Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse, he who guards his soul will be far from them. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is serve it to the lender.
He who sows in equity will reap sorrow, and the rod of his anger will fail. He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he gives of his bread to the poor. Cast out the scoffer, and contention will leave, yes, strife and reproach will cease. He who loves purity of heart and has grace on his lips, the king will be his friend.

Boy wasn’t that a lot! Book of Proverbs is amazing we should all spend time in it. It shows us how we are to treat people how to treat those around us how to do things justifiably and honorably. From helping those who need help. From training our children to grow up to be mature Christian adults. Training those around us even training ourselves when we have bad habits and bad resources. We just have to watch what we say be kind and generous in the things we do and teach in spread the gospel when we can. And you know what , we’ll feel good and we will know the king will be our friend!!

Go praise and give thanks to the Lord today. Everything we have is through and by him. Have a blessed Sunday!!

Yes, Sunday morning has rolled around. It would be a great time to praise and glorify God for a moment. As we should do all week long. Let’s spend a moment together right now.

Two Corinthians chapter 1 verse three; blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with a comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.

Life is not easy. We all have highs and we all have lows. Good times and bad times. God tells us it’s not gonna be easy. There’s going to be struggle and tribulations. During these times where do you turn. We need to turn to God! He is our comfort he will get us through any situation. But we also need to turn to our friends, and family. They can give us comfort to. As a community we can always help each other through trials and tribulations. Thank God each and every day for the comfort and healing he gives to us through trials and tribulations. But also be thankful for those that love you and help you through tough times.

Hello Sunday morning! Hope all slept well! Shall we share Gods word? Lets! Lets do it together.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

There’s the gospel message in a nut shell. Jesus came and died on the cross FOR US! Took away our sins FOR US so we could be right with God! Opened the gates of Heaven FOR US! Theres Jesus humbling Himself and doing it for others. So do we model ourselves after Jesus? Do we humble ourselves to help others? Have we helped our neighbor lately or do we just complain about them.

Make “Humble” a part of your life. A part of your walk & relationship with God. Humble can change your life and the lives of all the people around you. People see a difference in us , itll make a difference in them. Be like Jesus, be HUMBLE!!
Have a Blessed Sunday!!

January 23, 2022

Good Sunday morning. Welcome everyone. Shall we spend a moment together in praise and glorify God in his word. And let’s do it together.

Jeremiah has questions. Jeremiah chapter 12 verse one. Righteous are you, O Lord, when I plead with you; yet let me talk with you about your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper??? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously??? You have planted them, yes, they have taken root ; they grow, yes they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth but far from their mind.

We all have questions at times. We all have things going on in our lives that we wonder why God has done this or that. Questions questions questions. Do you know who you are to take those questions too?? You take them to God. It’s called prayer. It’s called that time spending with him to build that relationship of you and him. You get to know him deeper and more joyfully when you spend as much time with him as possible. Ask him questions, talk to him, get in his word and build that relationship because that’s what he is after. He wants nothing more than to have a relationship with you!!!

Tell God thanks today, tell him thanks for the relationship he has with you!! Blessings!!

Well good Sunday morning. Hope everyone had a peaceful Saturday evening. Shall we spend a moment in God‘s word together this morning. Give him some thanks and praise. And let’s do it together!

John chapter 4 verse 7; A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her”give me a drink”. For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. Then the woman of Samaria said to him,“ how is it that you, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her, “if you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, give me a drink, you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

Do we think that pride, racism, prejudice and all those other dreaded vices just came around. They have been here forever. Since the beginning of time. If We would just get past our own prideful minds and see that the answer comes from Jesus. He gives us the living water. Make him your Lord and Savior and see where he will lead you. See how this world will change and how it would change for the better with Jesus in your life and in our lives.

Let Jesus show you His Joy for us. And dwell in our Joy for Him!!

January 9, 2022

Bbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! Another cold Sunday morning. But what a perfect time to praise and glorify God. And let’s do it together this Sunday morning.

From the book of Job chapter 12 verse seven. And I love this verse. “ But now ask the beast, and they will teach you, and the birds of the air, and they will tell you, or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, and the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this. In whose hand is the life of every living thing. And the breath of all mankind? Does not the ear test words and the mouth taste it’s food? Wisdom is with aged men and with the length of days, understanding.”

What a reason to thank God! Give him praise and thank him each and every day for all the creation he has done. Creating everything that we have. Creating us, creating you. Creating you to be who you are. Let’s not forget about all his creativity. How beautiful the earth is. All the animals all the plants all the beautiful flowers and trees. His creativity is amazing and he did it all for us !! Let us rejoice in that and give him praise for that.
GOD WE THANK YOU!!

It’s finally here. The new year. What a blast it came in yesterday with a big ole snowstorm. It’s not as bad as I thought it would be this morning. Lotta cold and a lot of snow so why don’t we take a moment and spend it in God‘s word and let’s do it together!!

psalm 148- praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the Heights, praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his hosts, praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you stars of light! Praise him, you heavens of heavens and you waters above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the Lord, for he commanded and they were created.

As we start a new year let’s give thanks to God and praise him for what he did for us in 2021. I’m sure there are a lot of folks out there that had a tough year. It wasn’t a kind year to a lot of people. But we all have reasons to thank God. He is the creator of all creation. He created us and created each one of us. We need to give him thanks for that be looking for his grace and his mercy and all of his blessings in 2022. Spend time praising him thanking him and talking to him in 2022. And how it will be for you and him to have a deeper relationship!! God bless you all , have a great day , and look forward to 2022

Here we are the day after Christmas. It comes and goes. But let us remember the reason for the season. Let’s share together in a word and praise God for a moment. This is one of my favorite passages in the entire Bible.
Luke chapter 2 verse eight. Now there were in the same country Shepherd‘s living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shown around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “ do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you a good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For their is born to you this day in the city of David a savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you, you will find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger “.

What a beautiful way to start Christmas. We just have to remember that each and every day after Christmas how special this day is. How special every day is. God gives us each day. Make sure we go out and do what we need to do to glorify and praise God. Show him how much we love him. Show others how much we love him. Spend as much time in prayer with him as we can. Till that day we are called to be with him. If we do all these things we will be ready when he calls. And that’s what you want to be. Ready!!

Sunday, December 19th we are only one week away from Christmas. Actually Christmas will be over with a week from today. Can’t hardly believe it but what I can believe is that it is Sunday and we get to praise and glorify God this morning so let’s do it together.

Philippians chapter 1 verse three. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy. For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now. Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ

Paul is always very thankful. Just like we should be very thankful. Thank God every chance you get for everything he does for you. Thank Him for what he does and how he brings other people into your lives and how they help you get through and how you’re able to help them that is so important to. Continue praying for all your friends and your family and coworkers everybody that you meet so that someway some shape some form they will get to know Jesus better. And in that brings Jesus closer to you. The one thing that you can be confident in is that Jesus died and shed his blood for you and that made all the difference in the world. It gives you eternal hope. You have the peace of knowing you will be in heaven someday with your Lord if you have the confidence in Jesus Christ!!

Well good morning. It’s an early Sunday morning. Shall we rise and shine and give praise to God. Let’s spend a minute in his word. Let’s do it together!

Hebrews chapter 9 verse 11 ; but Christ came as high priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves but with his own blood. He entered the most holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. (verse 15) and for this reason he is the mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

I have received lots of promises in my lifetime. Most of them never coming through. You can probably relate to this. People have wonderful ideas and are going to bring you in on things and things just never materialize. But here is one promise that you can take to the bank. You have eternal life in heaven with God if you believe in Jesus Christ. If you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed his blood for you and was raised up in three days you have that promise from Jesus of eternal life. And you can’t work hard enough and do enough good deeds and be the best person you think you can possibly be and think you can work your way into heaven. It doesn’t work that way. The only way to heaven is through Jesus. You have to know Jesus and believe in him. Confess with your mouth and your heart that he is your Lord and Savior and he will fulfill that promise!
THATS A PROMISE!!
Have a wonderful and blessed Sunday. Remember the reason for the season, JESUS!

Well we have a druery Sunday morning. I guess there’s no better thing to do than to praise and glorify God. That will lift all of our day! Shall we spend a moment in his word and shall we do it together?! Lets!!

Ezekiel chapter 12 verse one. Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “ Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which has eyes to see but does not see, and ears to hear but does not hear, for they are a rebellious house.

I love that sentence. Now the word of the Lord came to me. The word of the Lord comes to us all he gives it to us all each and every day. Have you opened your Bible lately? His word is there. It’s there to teach us and to guide us it’s to show us that we don’t have to live in that house. That rebellious house. We want to be able to hear we want to be able to see what he has to show us. There’s only one way to do it we have to open our hearts and our minds to him show him how much we love him because he loves us that much to teach us. Spend time learning his word and getting to know the Lord deeper . And see where he will lead you!

Have a blessed Sunday. And remember the reason for the season. Jesus Christ!

Praise and thank the Lord for another Sunday has rolled around. The start of another beautiful Sunday he created for us. Shall we spend a moment in his word and shall we do it together?!

Psalm 103 verses 19 through 22. The Lord has established his throne in heaven. And his kingdom rules overall. Bless the Lord, you his angels, who excel in strength, who do his word. Heeding the voice of his word. Bless the Lord, all you hosts, you ministers of his, who do his pleasure. Bless the Lord, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul!

A beautiful passage by David. Tells us who is in charge. We know that God is in charge of all. Not some , not a little bit, but ALL! And God has given and entrusted us to learn his word. That we can go out each and every day and do the things that we need to minister to others. We are the angels down here. We are the ministers down here. He has set us to go forward to preach the gospel. And as we do that we know that we can trust him to lead us. So put your trust in God today. Let him know you love him very very much because he loves you very very much. And then go out and help spread the gospel because that’s what he asked us to do. It’s really just a small thing that we can do for all that he does for us!!

Here we are the week before Thanksgiving. Can you believe it! It’s Sunday you know what that means it’s time to praise God and to listen to his word. Shall we do it together!!

Luke chapter 1 verse 29; but when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and consider what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, “ do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. “

How do we approach people? And what did they think of us after we approached them. Can they tell that you are a Christian? Whether you are approaching an old friend or somebody new or you have an opportunity to spread the gospel how are you doing it. We are supposed to do it with love. Can they sense this? Can they tell that we are committed and that we love Jesus? Mary was a little unsure of the angel. But he settled her nerves and said “ do not be afraid. “ We have to let the people we are around know that they do not have to be afraid either. Because if they know Christ they have the hope of eternal life. So make sure when you’re out and about that you’re showing people that you are a Christian that you have love for them and that you have love for Jesus. You never know you might lead somebody to Christ.

It’s kind of a dreary windy cruddy looking day. But what a perfect day for church! Shall we spend a moment in God‘s word and shall we do it together.

Isaiah chapter 59 verse 12 for our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us. For our transgressions are with us, and we know our inequities. Transgressing, and denying the Lord, and turning back from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart lying words.

Isaiah‘s people knew they had done the Lord wrong. They were admitting their sins. They were making a repentance to the Lord. We all go through life not realizing how much we sin. And when we know we have sinned, what are we doing about it. If we do nothing about it it’s like telling God we don’t care. Is that what we want to be telling God. That we don’t care?! We all care. We all want to be right with God. When we sin we have to repent and we have to give it to God. Jesus died on the cross for us. He shed his blood for our sins, so give your sins to God and repent. And do it as often as needed. He’s always there for us!!

Have a Blessed wind blown day!!

Hey guess what. It’s Sunday!!!! It’s time to spend with the Lord. Let’s spend a moment in his word and see what he has to tell us. Let’s do it together.

Revelation 22 verse 10; and he said to me, “do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. Let the evil doers still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy. Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

Wow, there is a lot going on here. He says to not seal up his words of prophecy. He is telling us something that we need to spend more time in his word. More time understanding what God is trying to tell us and trying to teach us through out all of our lives. He is the Alpha and the Omega he is the beginning and the end which means from our very start to the very end of our time we need to be spending it with him and learning all we can about our glorious God. Spend time praising him. Spend time thanking him. Spend time repenting to him. Let him know how much you love him and how much he is needed in your life. And the way to make it knowing him better is by learning his words more and more.

Have a Glorious Sunday!!

Good Halloween Sunday! What does Jesus have to share with us this Halloween day. Lets find out, and let’s do it together!

Matthew 25:41… then he will say to those on his left, “ Depart from me, you cursed in to the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not cloth me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.” Then they also will answer saying, “ Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister to you? “ Then he will answer them saying, “ truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me. And these will go away in to eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life"

Halloween is a time for sharing. We share candy with the little ones. We share fun and games. We share hospitality to those at our door. Why do we not do this every day? In Matthew 25 here Jesus tells us we need to be doing it every day. Not momentarily not once in a while but all the time. We need to share and show our love to all those around us each and every day. We need to show them who we are. Lovers of people. Which shows them we are followers of Jesus Christ!

Well good Sunday morning everybody. The rains have come. Looks like a day long soaker! God talks about rain. Let’s spend a minute together on this Sunday morning and show God how much we love him and spend a moment in his word. And let’s do it together.

Leviticus 26:3.. if you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them, then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield it’s increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. (12) And i will walk among you and and will be your God, and you shall be my people. That is a powerful little piece of scripture.

If we spend time with God. And we learn his word and then most importantly go out and live his word do what he asks of us he will give us many blessings. And the greatest blessing is knowing him. And the eternal hope that we have on being with him someday. Let’s thank God for all that he gives to us each and every day. The seasons, the rain, his blessings and his fellowship!!

Have a blessed Sunday! Enjoy God’s rain for us!

Well good Sunday morning on this 17th of October that the good Lord has created for us. Let as give him thanks and praise for this. And let’s do it together!

From the book of Psalms number 127 ; unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil, for he gives to his beloved sleep.

Everything that we are given is by God. Don’t let pride think you’re doing it all on your own. Without God we have nothing. He gives it all to us and when we understand that we have a better life to live. We can try doing it all on our own and make ourselves anxious and stressed and worried but when we turn it over to him he will give us a joy and a comfort. He will allow you to put your head on your pillow each night and get a good nights sleep.

Have a blessed and joyful and restful Sunday!!

Good Sunday morning. Little rainy and overcast today but think it’s gonna be a good day. Shall we spend a minute in Gods word? And should we do it together? Let’s do!

I Open my Bible up this morning and this is what it fell to. Pretty fitting for a Sunday.

Psalm 145: I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and great to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall command your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.

Let us all meditate today on how great God is!

Spend Sunday morning, at your church, at your home, or wherever you are at meditating on the incredible God we have. Praise Him! Glorify Him!
Let Him know how much He means to you and how much you love and need Him. He loves us unmeasurably! Let us show that we love him unmeasurably!!

Well Hello everyone. Good Sunday morning! Shall we spend a moment in God‘s word. Let’s! And let’s do it together!!

Hosea 6:6. For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

What a powerful little message. We all get running around every day thinking we are pleasing God. By doing the right thing. By doing certain tasks that we believe are pleasing to him. And that’s all good. But what God really wants is us to know him. He wants us to learn everything there is about him and put our sacrifice towards him. More than anything we can offer in goods or deeds its not near what he’s after. He just wants us to know him deeper and deeper. So spend time in his word. Spend time in prayer with him and through him. Get to know Christ. And see where he leads you.

Have a Wonderful Sunday! Praise God!

Good Sunday morning. Running a little late today. It’s not because I overslept. I would like that excuse one day. LOL no just running behind. Did you spend a little time and worship and praise God? Let’s do it together. I captured this this morning. It was a complete fireball in the sky as the sun came up. God is the fireball. He is our fireball. There is times where we can’t even look at him because the fire is so intense. His fire for us is amazing so let our fire for him be amazing. Have a blessed Sunday and show God your fire!!

Hello and good Sunday morning. The sun is up. It’s a beautiful start to a day. What could be more beautiful than praising and glorifying God on such a wonderful morning. Let’s spend a time in a moment together here , shall we?!

From the book of Judges chapter 8 verse 22:; then the man of Israel said to Gideon, “ rule over us, you and your son and your grandson also, for you have saved us from the hand of Midian.” Gideon said to them, “ I will not rule over you, and my son will not rule over you. The Lord will rule over you.”

We put so much of our life and our trust in things of the flesh. We listen to what others have to tell us and take it as gospel. We let others control so much of our lives and how we think and process. That’s not where we should be putting our trust. We need to be putting our trust and faith in Christ. We need to let God lead us. We need to be searching out his will and what he wants for us each and every day and then working in that direction. Let God lead you , not man. Eternal life depends on it!
Have a Blessed Sunday!

Well good Sunday morning. The suns about to bust out. It’s supposed to be a little toasty today. But we’re not ready to shovel snow yet, correct!? But what we can do is celebrate with the Lord today. Honor and give him some praise and let’s do it now and let’s do it together. From Psalm 90 here is the reading for today……………………………………………

What did you get out of it?? God is always with us. He has never left. Even through difficult times. We all have. He is still with us and He gives us his grace and mercy. There is evil always around us. How well we all know during this difficult times. But we know God is always with us. We can trust in God. But God wants us to go out and show others that they can trust in him. Let us use our hands. Let us go out and do the work. Do the work we need to do every day to follow God‘s will. We know all the glory and praising God. Pass it on to others so they have that eternal hope that we have. Heaven

Well good HOT Sunday morning. Last couple days have been brutal hot!! Let’s cool down here with a few words from our Lord. And let’s rejoice in it together.

From Ephesians chapter 4 verse 30: and do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ for gave you.

Pretty straightforward isn’t it!! BE NICE!!

Do you remember what our parents told us. Play nice together. That’s what Christ wants us to do. Be kind be nice whatever it takes to serve one another. Because God gives us his kindness every day. Let’s go out and show it to others!

If you want to go you better follow me and I better be number one. Anybody ever thinks there’s another way, read this, then Love Jesus, turn to him, make him your number one, it’s the only way!!

Wow what a beautiful Sunday morning! We’ve been lucky to get a few days, the humidity has been gone and the temperatures are down. What a great reason to praise and thank God! Let’s go a little farther and spend a little time in his word. And let’s do it together.

Isaiah chapter 57 verses11 through 13
Whom did you dread and fear so that you lied, and did not remember me, did not lay it to heart? Have I not held my peace, even for a long time, and you do not fear me? I will declare your righteousness and your deeds, but they will not profit you. When you cry out, let your collection of idols to deliver you! The wind will carry them all off, a breath will take them away. But he who takes refuge in me shall possess the land and shall inherit my holy mountain.

Far too many people today do not put their trust in God. Even those who claim to be Christians don’t really profess their faith. They have there own gods.
They have the God of money, possessions, time, and the list goes on. Today’s world is so much about me me me! And it tells us here that all of that can be gone quickly, whatever we possess whatever we’re trying to gather it can all be gone in an instant breath. And the funny thing it is the breath that God gives us. When that breath is taken away so is everything else. That’s why it’s so important not to lose our focus on God. And who God is. That we get to know God and we get to know him deeper and deeper every day of our lives. Because when that last breath is taken away if we are a follower of Christ we have eternal life to look forward to. With Jesus Christ as our Lord our Savior we will live forever with him in his kingdom. No false idols can you give us anything near that. It’s an easy choice.
Follow Jesus!!
Have a wonderful and blessed Sunday. Praise God for this glorious day. And enjoy it!

Welcome to this new Sunday morning God has given us. Let’s get up and praise the Lord! Let’s share in a few of his words today and let’s do it together.

From the book of Isaiah chapter 1 verse 10:
Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom, give ear to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah, to what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to me? Says the Lord. I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed cattle. I do not delight in the blood balls, or of lambs or goats.

How many of us get up each and every day thinking we have Jesus in our hearts. But we go out and live our lives as if he doesn’t exist. Or we tell God how much we love him and we do absolutely nothing to show it. God is given us his word. He has given us his unconditional love. And he shows it to us through the Bible. But do we continue to ignore it. We need to get up each and every day and live life like Jesus is the answer. Because he is the answer. We have to get to know him and trust him and follow him. Follow him like we follow no one else. Show him how much we love him because he shows us each and every day how much he loves us!

Have a very blessed Sunday!!

Good Sunday morning. Beautiful day! Lets share in Gods word. Lets do it together! Lets read about the temple tax.

Matthew 17:24. ..................................

We think taxes sometimes today are unfair. Well if you lived back then, they could be really unfair. They “taxed” whoever for however much they wanted or thought they could get. But what we have to remember is Jesus paid our tax for us. The tax for death. Jesus died on the cross for us. He conquered death! He gives us eternal life with Him in Heaven “ IF “ we give ourselves to Him.
Have you? .......Given yourself to Jesus!

Have a Blessed Sunday!!

Good Sunday morning. Another hot and steamy day in line. But that won’t bother us now. Let’s spend a moment together in God‘s word.

Matthew chapter 1 verse 18 : now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered these things, behold, and angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, and he will save is people from their sins.
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord has spoken by the prophet, behold the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and they shall call his name Emmanuel

Just like in all scripture there is a lot going on here a lot you can take away. Sometimes we don’t have a clue what God is calling us to do. But there’s a reason things happen. Sometimes we look at things and we can’t see the good in it and somehow out of that comes great things. When we take it all to follow Jesus Christ we have to trust him. We have to know that the things are going on if we are following his word and doing what he’s asking us to do it’s all gonna come out for the good. And that good is for the building of his kingdom.

I’m pretty confident Mary had issues during this time. Joseph had issues during this time. But they trusted God and they trusted where they were being led and they knew good things would happen. Jesus brings us that every day. If we trust in him great things will happen.

It’s Sunday, it’s a great day to praise and glorify God. But remember to do that each and every day. Every day is a blessing from Christ. Which needs to be praised and glorified!!

Have a blessed Sunday and week!

Well here we are again, good Sunday morning! It’s a beautiful start to a great new day that the good Lord has created for us. Shall we spend a moment in God‘s word and see what God is doing for us. Let’s do it , let’s do it together.

From the book of Job chapter 12 verse seven
“ but now ask the beast, and they will teach you, and the birds of the air, and they will tell you. And the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?

WOW, do you want to be uplifted today?! Read that again. What a wonderful verse. We all know where everything comes from. We all know where we get our next breath. It all comes from God. It is so cool to get up each and every day and to know that God is walking with us and we are walking with him. Those few short lines just tell it all. God gives us everything. We need to thank him and praise him. Let’s do that this Sunday. Let’s do that every day! Let’s get up and sing praises to the Lord!!!
Enjoy this great day that God is giving us!!

Good Sunday morning. Looks like it’s going to be a lazy rainy day. But that’s OK. Could probably use a day of rest. Shall we rest in the Lord‘s word together today. Let’s do!

Two Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17... therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away, behold, the new has come. All this is from God. Who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself. Not counting their trespasses against them, and in trusting to us, the message of reconciliation.

WOW. There is a lot here. If you have committed yourself to Jesus Christ and made him your Lord and your Savior he has made you new, he has made you a new creation. He has set the Holy Spirit in force to be with you and to live in you. And this is all amazing because it makes you an ambassador to Christ. So not only do we know we have God‘s favor and we have eternal life we also now have the spirit working with us and in us to bring others to him. And that is a calling he is asking all of us to do. Help spread the gospel. As the Holy Spirit works in you he will lead you to do this. Along with many other great things for the kingdom.

Have a Blessed Rejuvenated Sunday!!

Good morning. Happy Fourth of July! Shall we start this day off right? Spend a moment together in God‘s word.

Genesis chapter 17 verse 15. And God said to Abraham, as for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai , but Sarah shall be her name. I will bless her, and moreover, I will give you a son by her. I will bless her, and she shall become nations, kings of peoples shall come from her. Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said to himself, shall a child be born to a man who is 100 years old, shall Sarah, who is 90 years old, bear a child? And Abraham said to God, oh that Ishmael might live before you! God said, No , but Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac.

Guess what? God fulfilled his promise to Abraham!! Abraham at 100 years old had a son. Sarah at 90 gave birth to a son. Seems impossible doesn’t it. What you have to understand is with God nothing is impossible. He created this whole universe that seems like much more of an undertaking than having an older couple conceive a child. That’s why you can’t give up on God‘s blessings and God‘s grace and all the things God promises to bless us each and every day if we are followers and believers in Jesus Christ. There is nothing he cannot do. If it’s in his will and it’s for the glory of the kingdom everything is absolutely possible through God. We do not want to forget this or let anything lead us astray. Knowing God is with us at all times and that anything is possible through Christ.

Have a blessed and joyful Fourth of July!!

Good Sunday morning everyone. Not sure what today brings. It’s a bit cloudy and overcast but there’s not really much of a chance for rain. We’ll see. But shall we spend a moment in God‘s word. Let’s do it together.

Leviticus chapter 1 verse one. The Lord called Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting, saying “speak to the people of Israel and say to them, when anyone of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of livestock from the herd or from the flock. This offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting, that he may be excepted before the Lord.”

How cool was it that the Lord and Moses were able to speak together. God spoke to Moses. And Mose always trying to listen and do what he was asked of. Would it be wonderful today if we got our instruction that way. God speaks to us differently. We have to be very attentive, in the right state of prayer, in the right walk with the Lord. When that happens we will hear what he has to tell us. So it’s not like Moses just getting to hear God. We have to do a little bit more at times. We have to be very attentive and listen really hard. That listening really hard is our prayer time. It’s very important. Giving God as much time as you possibly can so the two of you can know each other better. It’s not the fact God doesn’t know you because he does but we really really need to know him better. And when we know him better we will hear him better. So spend as much time as you can throughout the week walking with God and listening to him.

Have a Blessed Sunday !!

June 20, 2021 Father's Day

Written by Jeff Roman

Good Sunday morning. Happy Father’s Day to everyone!! Shall we spend a moment in God‘s word. Let’s do it together on this Father’s Day.

There has been a verse on my mind all week it comes from Psalm nine verse nine.
The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O’Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

I just know it’s been a tough week for a lot of people. Don’t know if it’s been a tough week for you but I’m sure you know somebody that has been. The whole world‘s climate. Our local climate and just all of our friends and family who have struggles. Where death has crept into our households. For those we know and love who are struggling for whatever reasons like poor health or financial difficulties. But this verse just tells us we have him with us and near us at all times. As long as we know who Jesus is, Jesus is with us. And walking with Him gets us through many difficult times. He is our stronghold and He is our strong hold in times of trouble. Put your trust in Jesus because He will not forsake you, He loves you and He will help you conquer any difficulties that are in front of you. The love of Jesus is everlasting!!
May you all have a wonderful happy and blessed Father’s Day.

Good Sunday morning. A little nicer out. Some of the humidity has gone away. What a relief. Shall we spend a moment in God‘s word. Let’s do it together.

From the book of Mark chapter 6 verse 30 the apostles return to Jesus and told Him all that they had done and taught. And He said to them “ come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat. And they went away in the boat to a desolate place by themselves.

The apostles have been busy. They have been going from town to town preaching about Jesus. They have been working so hard that even at times have not even taken the time to eat. We can all relate to times like this. Times we are so busy we can’t even get the little things done. We work so hard trying to provide and making everything right for those around us. Jesus tells us we need to have some rest. Some might call it a vacation. Weather you call it a vacation or take a vacation we need to take time to rest. But remember whether you’re on vacation or you’re just at home resting or wherever you’re at, Jesus needs to be a part of it. Always remember to take Jesus with you regardless to what you are doing. Working, relaxing, playing, Jesus needs to be apart of it and with you.
Have a Blessed Sunday..... WITH JESUS!

Good Sunday morning. Shall we spend a moment in God‘s word. And let’s do it together.

One Corinthians chapter 2 verse one... and I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power., So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

We are all sent to spread the gospel. Whether you want to or not it is one of Gods callings for us. And we don’t have to know everything. We don’t have to be the best speaker. We really don’t have to be very smart at all. We just let the Holy Spirit work in us. Let God do the work through us. The Holy Spirit will give us what to say ,will give us what we need to be doing to teach others about Christ. Because we need to be spreading Gods word about Christ being crucified and what that means to all of us. So remember you don’t have to be book smart or have great speech or have anything else out there that you think you are lacking. The Holy Spirit will give it to you. So lets ALL help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ!!
Have a Blessed Week!!

Good Sunday morning! What a beautiful morning. What a beautiful morning to get together spend a few minutes and God‘s word. Let’s do it together.

From Psalm 22 my God my God why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me? And from the words of my groaning? Oh my God, I cry in the daytime, but you do not hear. And in the night season and am not silent. But you are holy, and enthroned in the praises of Israel. Our fathers trusted in you. They trusted, and you delivered them. They cried to you, and were delivered, they trusted in you, and we’re not ashamed.

I know we all have difficult times. Some more difficult than others. When we think we have difficult times all we have to do is look at other people and see how difficult theirs is and then ours don’t seem so bad. But difficult times are difficult times and there are times where it just doesn’t seem like God is with us. Those are the times we really need to sit back and dive into God. God is always with us if you are a believer He is always there the Holy Spirit is with you. There are times when it’s going to seem quiet but you have to trust Him and know that He is there. He will never leave you nor for sake you. Keep praying keep learning His word keep walking with Him and He will walk you through your trials.

Have a blessed Sunday. Enjoy the sunshine!

Here we are again on a Sunday morning. What should we be doing? We should be praising and glorifying our Lord. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We need to spend time together throughout the week doing this. So let’s do it now!

In the book of Revelation chapter 19 verse 13 he was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and his name is called The word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed him on white horses. Now out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, and with it he should strike the nations. And he himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he has on his robe and on his thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

He is the almighty one. He is the reason for everything. He is why we need to praise and glorify Him without ceasing. Spend extra time today and tomorrow and the next day praising Him and glorifying Him letting Him know He is the answer and He is why we are so thankful for the blood of Jesus!!

Have a Blessed Sunday!!

Good Sunday morning everyone. Hope your day is starting well. Shall we spend a moment in the Lords word. Together. Let’s!

Genesis chapter seven verse six. Noah was 600 years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth. And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons wives with him went into the ark to escape the waters of the flood.

Wow, 600 years old. God and Noah had an incredible relationship. Noah at 600 would do God’s will. I would think at 600 he’s pretty tired and had enough. But No! Noah did the will of God. How about you and I ?? Do we get up every day and do the will of God that He has asked us to do. Do we walk with our Lord without fussing or grumbling. And like Noah leading his family to do God’s will.

Are we leading our family too!! A lot to think about.
Have a Blessed Sunday!

May 9, 2021 Mother's Day

Written by Jeff Roman

Good Sunday morning. Happy Mother’s Day to all! Shall we take a moment and spend it in God’s word? Let’s do!

Genesis chapter 6 verse 13.. and God said to Noah, “the end of all flesh has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence through them, and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make yourself an ark of Gopherwood, make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch. And this is how you shall make it:”....

And God said to Noah,” this is how you shall make it.” He gave Noah all the instructions on how to build the ark. From top to bottom, from inside and out, everything that was needed for the ark. God also does this for us. He gives us two things. He gave us His words. The Bible. Which has all the instruction for us. We just have to dive into it and learn its meaning and know what He’s teaching us. The other thing He gives us is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is with us each and every day, each and every moment of our lives. We just have to listen and know the will of the spirit. Be led by it. So between knowing God’s word and living through the Holy Spirit God gives us everything we need each and every day.

Praise God!Have a Blessed Mother’s Day!!

From the book of Romans. How to treat people.
Think this should be easy. But we watch people mistreated daily. God gives us direction. Lets follow it. Let Him show the way. He gave us the example.
Lets follow it!! Treat others right. Set the example to others!

Well good Sunday morning to All!
How about a few words and a moment or two in Gods word?! Lets do it together. Here we go.

Genesis 6:5. The Lord saw that’s a wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of His heart was only evil continually. And the Lord regretted that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him to His heart. So the Lord said, I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them. But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

It almost sounds like our news today. How terrible people can be. How the news is all bad. The whole world is in turmoil!! But someone made a difference back then. Yes... Noah. He was not perfect but he loved and believed in his lord God!
And Noah made a difference!

Who can make a difference today? Yes... You!!
I know, your not perfect. None of us are. But by our love and belief in our Lord. God. We will make a difference too. We “ ALL “ need to go out every day and live for Him and show others what a Godly community is capable of!!
Lets show em!!

Well Hello on this fine Sunday morning! Shall we share a minute together in God’s word? Lets!!

Genesis 2:15 The lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. And the lord God commanded the man saying “ You may surely eat of every tree of the garden but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die”.

Wow, that's some powerful language. Two thoughts here. God gave us a command here. Live by the rules. When we don't live by His rules, there will be consequences!! Sin brings bad results!! We can, I'm sure, all relate to that. Bad things happen when we do the wrong thing (as sin). And we have to WORK it and keep it. We have to work at keeping His commands and rules. Just like every day life. Everything we do has rules. And consequences when we don’t follow them. So let’s WORK at knowing Gods commands and keep them so sin stays away from us! God loves us! So lets show our love to Him! Work at knowing Him!

Well good Sunday morning!! Shall we share in a moment with the Lord‘s words together. Lets!

Genesis 2:1. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God finished His work that He had done. And He rested on the seventh day from all His work that He had done. So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all His work that He had done in creation.

God rested?? Really?? Do you have time to rest? I know I don’t. Tooooo much to do! At least that's what I think most of the time. God did rest! Really!!
He rested to see His awesome creation. Rested from toils and rested to reflect. AND that's what we need to do. STOP! Look at what God has done for us! THANK HIM! Praise and Glorify Him. Spend time with Him and REALLY get to know Him. And do this on a regular basis! Rest in Gods favor. In trust!!

Have a Blessed Sunday!

Genesis 3:21.... Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin and clothed them.

It doesn’t matter what we have done. Or where we are at in life. God KNOWS what we need!! He will always provide. We may not understand what He’s doing at times. But He’s always with us and providing for us. Just put your faith in Him!! And thank Him for sending Jesus. Like I said.....
He always provides!!

Good Sunday morning! So glad you are here! Shall we spend a moment in God‘s word? And shall we do it together? Let’s do!!

Genesis chapter 3 verse eight.... and they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God call to Adam and said to him” Where are you?”
So he said,” I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid myself.”
And He said, “ Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”

Isn’t sin an amazing thing to us. We know the rules, we know right from wrong. We know what we should be doing but yet we sin. We convince ourselves that it’s a little sin, that it doesn’t matter much. And then on the big sins, we try to justify those too. But we can’t. We can’t justify little sins or big sins because they are all sin. They are all unclean in the eyes of God. And it takes us away from God. That’s why we feel naked and that’s why we try to hide from God. Because we know the sins are wrong. But the amazing thing with God is He sent His son Jesus to save us. To take all of our sins away. Past present and future. As long as we are a follower of Jesus and we allow Him to lead us and we have our faith in Him, God will continue to forgive us of our sins. Repent and walk with God. Do not feel naked and afraid. He is always with us. Grow your relationship with Him and see where it leads you. It might lead you to a cool day walking in the garden with God!
Have a Blessed Sunday!!

Home-Heaven

By Jeff Roman

Philippians chapter 3 verse 17 through 20 brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ, whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in there shame - Who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, ( let me repeat that; FOR OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN) from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to HIS glorious body, according to the working by which he is able even to subdue all things to himself.

Isn’t that a wonderful passage? I love that line “ for OUR citizenship is in heaven“ AND “from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. “ Shouldn’t that be our home. Our citizenship in heaven. It says some people are the enemy of the cross and guess where their citizenship is at, it's in destruction! So where is our home. Is our ultimate goal heaven? That’s God’s home. That should be our wanting destination. That’s what I want to talk to you a little bit about today “our home”

My current home or my home on this earth is in Atkinson. For those that don’t know me my name is Jeff Roman . I have a wife Jean we’ve been married for 26 years. I have a stepson Heath who has a wife Cherise and two grandsons Grayson and Vinny ages 12 and 7. And I actually started out in these parts. Not sure if any of you remember Prosper and Fern Roman. He farmed Newman‘s island which later became Copelands Island and the last I knew the Derricks family owned it. It’s down there by the big Ben conservation area I started my grocery career right here in town working for Marv Scott of Scott’s red and white grocery store which I believe now is a funeral home. Which is kind of funny because I have worked at two stores which now house funeral homes . I’m not sure if that’s what happens to old grocery stores they become funeral homes. I have 42 years in the grocery business. 37 years as an owner and 30 years catering. And my body tells me I have 42 years in the grocery business. LOL one of the things I believe the Lord led me to was fishing. Do we have any fishermen here today. You live right here next to the Rock River. And you’re not a fisherman I’m not sure what’s wrong with that. It’s a wonderful fishery. I grew up on the Rock River fishing and then when we moved I had an opportunity to fish farm ponds and from there it lead into bass fishing which led into a compulsion called tournament bass fishing. Do you want to know how to make a small fortune bass fishing. You start with a large fortune. Lol. I was blessed with over 30 years of tournament fishing to have met some very wonderful people from all across this country. And I believe there was a lesson to be learned here, a lesson God was giving me. After many years of being on the water on the weekends I started hearing this voice in my head, any of you probably think if you start hearing voices in your head you should probably seek some help, but I felt it was a different voice, a voice today that said I needed to be doing something for God‘s kingdom. All of these people that I was running around with on the weekends all seem to have a belief in God but we don’t want just a belief in God (because as it tells us in the book of James chapter 2 verse 19 you believe that there is one God, you do well. Even the demons believe, and tremble!) we need a relationship with God, we need to be working to find God's home, and who God is. So we know where to make our home!  So Hence came the creation of Highlife Outdoor Ministry. It’s a social network to help outdoorsman or anybody else at seeking and finding and growing  their relationship with God. Grow their relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s like God was speaking to me to talk to the unchurched. And that’s who the Ministry is really geared for, the unchurched. And from the unchurched we planted a new ministry called Country Community Church which our slogan for that is “Have Church Will Travel”. I get together a few Lay ministers and we get a whole bunch of food. Because the way to a man’s soul is through his stomach LOL food works wonders. We create a country community church gathering by putting together short sermonettes with a local praise band and spending an evening celebrating and praising God. And we do this preferably in outdoor settings anywhere they will have us. Area farms, conservation areas, old gymnasiums. Anywhere we can spread gods word. This has been very rewarding and has grown immensely up until the pandemic. Our first event had about 50 people, and our last event had about 150 people. What is really fun about watching one of these events is for me anyway it was meant for the unchurched but it was amazing to see all the church people and all the different denominations of people who were attending. Hopefully now with things starting to turn around we’ll get to have some of that scheduled again. I call myself a Lay minister. And I like to help spread the gospel. I’ve been blessed over the last several years to have got to do many church services like this. Little Presbyterian Church in Mendota I’ve been to several times. Congregational Church in Atkinson I have done many church services there when the pastor is gone. And done some other area pulpit supply when they needed it. I’ve done funerals and I’ve been blessed to have got to officiate quite a few Christian marriages the last few years. And how rewarding that is? To be able to be a part of God‘s blessing on a Christian couple . I'm the outreach director and member of Sonrise Bible Church in Atkinson and Jean and I are members of St Anthony’s in Atkinson also.  That is All “ home “ for me.

Here’s another way of looking at home and what’s important about the correct home.

How many of you here are sports fans? Do you like football? How about college football? Jean and I are huge college football fans. I’m not sure if you’re aware of it or not but there is only one true college football team, and I hate to tell you this but it’s not the fighting Illini, its the Oklahoma Sooners. Walk through our house and the evidence will show you that. We were blessed to meet Chuck Long about 15 years ago and he got us our very first tickets to a Oklahoma game. Not sure if you remember Chuck or not he was the quarterback for Iowa back in his college days and then he went on to play for the Detroit Lions in the pros and then when he retired he became the quarterback coach for the Sooners back in the late 90's. And helped Oklahoma win the national championship in 2000. Chuck had a brother who had some disabilities and Chuck somehow got hooked up with the Quad city Children’s Therapy Center where Jean and I have been volunteers for many years. So one of our events we got to meet Chuck and he was kind and got us some tickets. And then Jean and I started our own voyage finding the closest away game each year and getting our tickets and going to one game a year. Barring a pandemic of course LOL. They talk about the home team and the away team in sports. If you guys are fans I’m assuming you probably end up going to the home games. That’s a nice thing about being an Illini fan or a Hawkeye fan or a Badger fan the home games are fairly close. But there’s a whole different setting when you are the away team. And that’s the way it is here in life we are actually the away team. We are the ones confronted each and every day with sin, disease, illness, sadness, work, And all the other plagues of life. Even though being the away team you can still have comfort and joy but here in this life we are actually the away team. The home team which here we are talking about the riches of heaven where all those bad things are taken away and all we have to do is enjoy the joy of being with Jesus Christ. If you’ve never been to an away game it’s a whole different experience. You go from being the favorite to not being liked or not wanted there. I’m not saying it’s not fun or enjoyable because it is and we have met many many wonderful people. But it doesn’t matter who you are what colors you wear if you’re the away team it’s a whole different atmosphere. But it’s one you need to experience. It’s like our lives here on earth. This is our earthly home.  But we are the away team . What happens when you tell somebody you are a Christian who is not? What kind of response do you get?  It’s being the away team here because they believe their home is here. They believe their home is the house they are living in. With all the hardships we have to endure each and every day. Sickness illness, protest, unrest, pandemic and the list goes on and on and on and yes we have joys and comforts but this is our away game. We want to talk about our home team. We want to talk about heaven

One John chapter 2 verses 15 through 17 ...Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it, but He who does the will of God abides forever.

One Peter chapter 2 verses 11 and 12 ....Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lust which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evil doers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Here was a couple of scriptures of not becoming a part of this world. And a couple of statements that resound. The will of God abides forever; and the day of visitation. How sweet those signs are. We will be with God in heaven forever!

There are bad parts of this world. Enough Scriptures tell us so. Trust me when I say I love my home. But how much do we love our homes? Jean and I have one square acre on the north west corner of Atkinson. We can pick a baseball up and throw it in any direction and not hit a neighbor. And we are in the city limits. It’s a very unique piece of property, it’s an older two-story farmhouse that’s been well-kept. Has crops growing up around us during the summer but yet we are in the city limits. We absolutely love it. But could I walk away from it. Absolutely! Because I know where my true home is, it's in heaven!!  So.....Where is your home??

In the book of John chapter 14 verse one let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Fathers house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there YOU may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.

Isn’t that great! As a Christian, as a believer in Jesus Christ, and knowing that because Jesus shed his blood for us and died on the cross He has a place for us. A place in his Fathers house already set aside for us. He has told us this is true and He has told us that we can believe this because we believe in him! We know where our home is at and we know how to get there. By Believing in Jesus.

So many people today say they love Jesus. I’m assuming everybody in this room loves Jesus. I love Jesus, Jean loves Jesus. But where would we rather be? Here on earth in our earthly homes, or would we rather be in our home in heaven with Jesus. How many of you get up each and every day saying “Jesus I can’t wait to be with you.”  That’s what we should be doing. Not worrying about the things of today, and in the flesh of today, we should be wanting and feeling that joy that Jesus will bring us that day we come to him.

So we need to listen to Jesus.

In John, chapter 18 verse 37 ... pilot therefore said to Him “are you a King then?” Jesus answered “you say rightly that I am a King. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice” ..... ... so each and every day that we are here on earth in our regular homes we need to be learning God‘s truth learning what Jesus wants us to know. And Jesus has a lot to teach us.

Matthew chapter 6 verses 19 through 21 .....Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But lay up yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroyed and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. .......

It is so easy to get caught up in this world. Am I not right? I do it every day. Work consumes me. I forget about all those that are around me. Where your treasure is at is where your heart is at.

I have to work really hard not to make work not my treasure. And anybody who knows me knows I fail at this. I don’t work for money I never have, even though we all know it takes money to survive, money to pay the bills. I do work for those that are around me and make sure that they are taken care of. This might sound like a good thing. And it is if it doesn’t take away from anything else. If it doesn’t take away from God. When I get up in the morning and I start running and scurrying and I don’t get my prayer time in or my alone time with God and He gets left out. That’s not a good thing. When I put in an extra long day and I had a church event or something scheduled with Jean or another commitment and I didn’t make it. That’s not a good thing that’s putting my treasures somewhere else. It’s not putting my treasures in heaven and that’s where all of our treasures need to be. Are we building up our treasures in heaven. He’s up there looking down on us and saying like it was saying in Matthew chapter 25 verse 21. His Lord said to Him, well done, good and faithful servant, you were faithful over a few things, I will make you a ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord. Isn’t that what we are all after,  God telling us well done good and faithful servant.

And I mustn’t forget about our other home. And it is very important, our earthly home, and that is our church. In the book of acts there are many meaningful scriptures about church. Acts chapter 2 verse two and suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues as of fire and one sat upon each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as a spirit gave them utterance.

Verse 42 then those who gladly received His words were baptized, and that day about 3000 souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine in fellowship in the breaking of bread and in prayers. Chapter 5 verse 42 and daily in the temple, and in every house, that they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. ..... Church is so important. But Church is not a building, it is about a body. The New Testament meaning for church is, assembly or belonging to the Lord. Ii is about the body of those who share and build and support the glory of Christ. Is that what we are doing? Is our fellowship and gathering for that purpose. For the spread of the gospel and for the glorification of Christ. Church is not about the building. It’s about those in the building. And what we are doing each and every day.

So what will heaven be like. Why should we be so committed at getting there? The book of revelations gives us some hints!! Chapter 7 verse 15

“Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore, the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat, for the lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”   .....— God will wipe away every TEAR from OUR eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Aren’t those the blessings that we want?? These are the blessings that we know we will receive once we get to our true home with Him. Revelations 21:5  Then He who sat on the throne said, “behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me. “Write, for these words are true and faithful. — revelation 22 verse three- and there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him, they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there, they need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

Wow, doesn’t heaven sound amazing. No death, no curses, only the light of God. God‘s throne is so lighted we won’t even need the sun. That is amazing in itself. To know that God is illumination alone! He is all we need! Isn’t this what we should be after? Isn’t it what we should be seeking??’!! Shouldn't we get up each and every day and want to be here? As I started out saying from the very beginning don’t we want our citizenship to be in heaven!

Revelation chapter 21 verse six and He said to me, it is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to Him who thirst. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be His God and He shall be my son.

Do we thirst for our home. Our true home. And That is the home we share with God.
